Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, May 11, outstanding Party members of the Communist Party of China, time-tested loyal Communist fighters, proletarian revolutionaries, outstanding National Work leaders, eighth, the body of Comrade Buhe, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the Ninth National People’s Congress, was cremated at the Babaoshan Revolutionary Cemetery in Beijing on the 11th.
Comrade Buhe died of illness in Beijing at 15:28 on May 5, 2017 at the age of 91.
During and after comrade Buhe’s serious illness, Xi Jinping, Li Keqiang, Zhang Dejiang, Yu Zhengsheng, Liu Yunshan, Wang Qishan, Zhang Gaoli, Jiang Zemin, Hu Jintao and other comrades, go to the hospital to visit or express deep condolences to Comrade Buhe’s death in various forms and express deep sympathy to his relatives.
On the morning of the 11th, the auditorium of Babaoshan Revolutionary Cemetery was solemn and sad. Above the main hall was a banner with black background and white characters hanging “mourning comrade Buhe”, and below the banner was the portrait of Comrade Buhe. Comrade Buhe’s body lay in the flowers, covered with bright red party flag of the Communist Party of China.
At 9 o’clock in the morning, Xi Jinping, Li Keqiang, Zhang Dejiang, Yu Zhengsheng, Liu Yunshan, Wang Qishan, Zhang Gaoli, Hu Jintao and so on walked slowly to the front of Comrade Buhe’s body to observe silence, he bowed three times to Comrade Buhe’s body and shook hands with comrade Buhe’s relatives one by one to express his sympathy.
Relevant leading comrades of the party and the state went to send farewell or expressed their condolences in various ways. The Responsible comrades of the relevant departments of the central and state organs, Comrade Buhe’s friendship during his lifetime and the representatives of his hometown also went to send off.
