The report pointed out that by the end of 2016, the management platform had received 263009 reports, including 185919 telephone reports, 65882 WeChat reports and 11208 online reports. From the perspective of the whole year, great progress has been made in environmental protection reporting. However, there are still some places that do not pay enough attention and have insufficient ability, and some problems are exposed in the work:
(1) the implementation of networking work is not in place. Some cities (districts) in Qinghai, Sichuan, Tianjin and other provinces (cities) have not installed a unified national network reporting platform on the official website of the Environmental Protection Bureau according to the requirements of the Ministry of Environmental Protection; Gansu, Jilin, Qinghai, the number of telephone reports recorded by the management platform of Inner Mongolia and other provinces (districts) is obviously too small compared with the statistical data of environmental letters and visits over the years; The telephone records of Heilongjiang, Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps and other provinces (regions) are not timely, compared with local WeChat and online reporting, the processing cycle is too different; Jiangsu, Guangxi, Sichuan and other provinces (regions) report low data quality through data docking, and many key information fields are missing; data docking in Ningxia, Shaanxi and other provinces (regions) is lagging behind, and data exceptions or losses often occur.

(3) report handling is not timely. A total of 204 WeChat reports and 61 online reports were not accepted on schedule, including more than 10 in Jiangsu, Heilongjiang, Liaoning, Henan and Hunan provinces. A total of 360 WeChat reports, 61 online reports and 121 telephone reports were not completed on schedule, including more than 20 in Heilongjiang, Guizhou, Henan, Jiangxi, Jiangsu, Jilin, Liaoning and Guangdong provinces.
(4) Reporting feedback is not standardized. Some regions have strong arbitrariness when filling in the report reply information, and problems such as incomplete elements and inaccurate language often occur. They do not pay enough attention to the problems reflected by the public and simply apply the model reply. Some municipal, district and county-level environmental protection departments have not paid attention to it after receiving the spot check opinions from superiors. 123 of the 232 replies sent by environmental protection departments at all levels have not been modified in place.
