This oil price adjustment is the fourth reduction in oil price in the year. From the national average, the price fluctuation of domestic refined oil is as follows: No. 90 gasoline is reduced by 0.19 yuan per liter, No. 92 gasoline is reduced by 0.20 yuan per liter, no. 95 gasoline is reduced by 0.21 yuan per liter, and No. 0 diesel is reduced by 0.20 yuan per liter. According to the estimation of 50L capacity of general domestic car fuel tank, filling up a tank of No. 92 gasoline will save about 10 yuan.

According to the monitoring of the price monitoring center of the National Development and Reform Commission, during the price adjustment cycle of refined oil products (from April 27 to May 11), the production of crude oil in the United States continued to rise steadily, and the number of active drilling rig increased for 16 consecutive weeks, among the OPEC countries, Libya, Nigeria and so on were exempted from participating in the restriction of production due to the unstable domestic political situation and the increasing output, which aggravated the market’s concern about oversupply and the oil price dropped sharply.
According to the data obtained by the reporter from the National Development and Reform Commission, on May 4th, the oil price in the two cities fell to the lowest level in five months, at $48.38 and $45.52 per barrel respectively, with a one-day decline of nearly 5%. Since then, oil prices have rebounded due to factors such as the decline in US crude oil inventories. During this round of price adjustment cycle, the average oil prices of Brent and WTI were 50.32 dollars and 47.60 dollars per barrel respectively, which were 6.74% and 6.77% lower than the previous price adjustment cycle.
Judging from the statements of various oil-producing countries in recent days, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Russia and so on all expressed support for extending the limited production agreement for six months. The price monitoring center of the National Development and Reform Commission predicts that, at that time, the adoption of the production restriction agreement will be a high probability event. However, even if OPEC passes the agreement to extend the limit of production, it does not mean that the international oil price will rebound sharply, and there is still great uncertainty in the trend of the international oil price in the later period.

The domestic refined oil pricing mechanism adopts the principle of “ten working days and one adjustment”. Since this year, China has experienced nine rounds of refined oil price adjustment cycle, the price adjustment of refined oil shows a pattern of “Four Falls, three rises and two stranding. Overall, in 2017, the price of gasoline was lowered by 315 yuan per ton, and the price of diesel was lowered by 300 yuan per ton.
In terms of retail, after the price of gasoline and diesel in this round has been lowered, No. 93 gasoline in most parts of the country will drop below 6.30 yuan/liter.

Shanghai No. 92 gasoline will be reduced from 6.40 yuan/liter to 6.20 Yuan/liter, and No. 95 gasoline will be reduced from 6.81 yuan/liter to 6.60 yuan/liter;
Guangdong No. 93 gasoline will be reduced from 6.46 yuan/liter to 6.26 yuan/liter, and No. 97 gasoline will be reduced from 7.00 YUAN/liter to 6.79 yuan/liter;
Guizhou No. 90 gasoline will be reduced from 6.56 yuan/liter to 6.37 yuan/liter;
