The environmental pollution of plywood enterprise clusters in Wen’an County is serious. Among about 2,000 plywood enterprises and plastic processing enterprises, most of the factories have messy environment, poor supporting environmental protection facilities and obvious unorganized emissions, there are basically no control measures for the emission of VOCs, and sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxide are basically in the direct discharge state.
There are a large number of non-ferrous metal processing and thermal insulation materials enterprises in Dacheng county, with a large number of dismantling and sorting, recycled metal casting, finished product re-casting, extrusion, hard-drawn wire and other enterprises. The material yard is not closed and the factory area is messy, unorganized emission is prominent; A large number of processes and equipment that should be eliminated exist, environmental protection facilities are simple and crude, and the problem of direct discharge of pollutants is serious; Air pollutants of thermal insulation materials such as glass wool, rock wool, aluminum silicate cotton are generally over-standard emission, no effective control measures have been taken for the emission of VOCs.
In order to urge Langfang City to further implement the responsibility of environmental protection and continue to pay close attention to the prevention and control of air pollution, the Ministry of Environmental Protection decided to carry out listing supervision on the atmospheric environment problems in Langfang City. Langfang Municipal People’s Government and relevant departments are required to strictly implement the the law about prevention and treatment of air pollution of the People’s Republic of China, the action plan for air pollution prevention and control, and the strengthening measures for air pollution prevention and control in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei (2016-2017) the work plan of air pollution prevention and control in Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei and surrounding areas in 2017 carries out comprehensive environmental improvement on plywood enterprise clusters in Wen’an County and non-ferrous metal processing and thermal insulation material enterprise clusters in Dacheng county, and plus-sized control efforts, strengthen law enforcement supervision, investigate and deal with existing problems in place, rectify them in place, open them in place, and accept social supervision. Relevant supervision matters must be completed before the end of October this year.
