China News Agency, Beijing, May 13th the first global recruitment interview of Beijing Winter Olympic Organizing Committee was held on the 13th. 119 candidates who stood out in the previous written examination will compete for 21 positions. According to Yan Cheng, head of human resources department of Beijing BOCOG, the global recruitment of BOCOG attracted more than 4,000 people to sign up. After qualification examination, written examination and qualification review, A total of 119 people entered the interview stage and launched the final impact on 21 positions.
The average age of the interviewees is 33.2 years old, of which 92 have master’s degree or above, accounting. Examiners are composed of employing departments, industry experts, human resources experts and language experts.
This interview is conducted in semi-structured, professional tests and non-leading group discussions. Among them, the semi-structured interview questions include public questions, professional questions and language questions, and each candidate takes 25 minutes to answer the questions. In order to ensure justice and fairness and the examination questions are not leaked, different public examination questions are adopted in the morning and afternoon examinations.
Among the 119 candidates who participated in the interview, including 4 foreign candidates from the United States, France, Russia and Mexico, they completed the interview with the help of remote video. According to Yan Cheng, these foreign examinees were very nervous about the time arrangement because of the long journey. BOCOG gave them humanized solutions.
Yan Cheng also revealed that through a complicated written examination before, it can be seen that candidates have considerable standards in both public knowledge, language ability and professional skill knowledge reserve, some of them have rich experience in participating in large-scale events.
After passing the interview, BOCOG will also conduct the file examination and physical examination of candidates. After it is passed, it will enter the final approval link of the organizing committee and formally sign the employment contract with the examinees. (Finished)
