Buhe was the eldest son of Ulanfu, the first chairman of Inner Mongolia autonomous region, and his family took charge of Inner Mongolia successively for three generations.
Born in 1926, Buhe was the Minister of Propaganda Department of Inner Mongolia district committee and deputy secretary of Inner Mongolia District Committee. Since 1983, he has been the chairman of Inner Mongolia autonomous region government for 10 years. After 1993, Buhe served as vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the Eighth and Ninth National People’s Congress.
Buhe had a special interest in literary career all his life.
After the Inner Mongolia liberation battle began in 1946, Buhe organized a propaganda team of literature and art, went to the front line to perform, and then established the Inner Mongolia Literary troupe. When the new China was founded in 1949, the Inner Mongolia Literary troupe took part in the founding ceremony.
In the 1950 s, Buhe, who served in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region Cultural Bureau, launched “ulanmu riding” in Inner Mongolia “.
This “red literature and art CHEVALIER”, composed of more than a dozen cultural workers with various skills and expertise, shuttles through Mongolian tribes with sparse land and large mobility, sending scenes to herdsmen, and also cutting hair for herdsmen, magic Lantern, small exhibitions, etc. have solved many practical problems for herdsmen.
Buhe once published many works such as “Buhe collection of literature”, “Buhe Collection of Literature and Art”, “poetry of the Sea”, “cultural work talk” and “Buhe collection of overorders” in his life, he is also called “the vice chairman with poet temperament”.
Buch’s father ulanf was born in December, 1906.
Ulanfu went to study in the Soviet Union when he was young and was a classmate of Deng Xiaoping. In 1928, when Zhou Enlai came to Moscow to attend the six conferences of the Communist Party of China, he talked with Ulanfu and encouraged him to study hard and bring the revolutionary experience back to Inner Mongolia to serve the liberation of China.
In June, 1929, with the consent of Qu Qiubai, the representative of the Communist Party of China in the Communist International, Ulanfu returned to Inner Mongolia to carry out revolutionary activities. In 1936, Ulanfu organized the “riot of the Bailing Temple”, which was praised as “the precious first shot of anti-Japanese grassland”. Later, he continued to lead Inner Mongolia’s anti-Japanese struggle according to Mao Zedong’s instructions.

In 1955, Ulanfu was awarded the rank of general. During the “cultural revolution”, Ulanfu was persecuted and then transferred to the central government, serving as vice premier of the State Council, Vice President of the State Council, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, etc.
On December 8, 1988, Ulanfu died in Beijing at the age of 82.
While Buch’s daughter bukolin, along the track of his father, is currently the chairman of Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
Born in 1958, Buxiaolin was promoted to the vice chairman of the Inner Mongolia autonomous region government in 2008 and later served as the Minister of the United Front Work Department, ranking among the standing committee of the Party Committee of the autonomous region.
On last March, Bartel, the former chairman of Inner Mongolia autonomous region, was transferred to the director of the State Ethnic Affairs Commission, and then Buxiaolin served as the acting chairman of the autonomous region. On June 23, he was elected as the chairman of the autonomous region until now.
